CARICOM: Delay in EU's sugar cut
Intense lobbying by Caricom and other bodies has led to a delay in the implementation of the price cut on what the European Union pays for sugar from African, Caribbean, and Pacific (ACP) countries. The cuts will now come into force in July 2006 rather than July 2005.
